Rural community Development Centre (RCDC) is an Organization committed to contribute on mainstreaming the development agendas of marginalized and excluded communities through participatory interventions on Livelihood diversification. Community Asset Building, Enterprises establishment and agrarian reforms, Productive use of water and Natural Resources Management for developing the resilient capacity of the vulnerable Community People. 

Major Responsibility: The Technical Supervisor DRR/NRM will (RCDC) is going to implement the Building Hope Along Karnali River Basin (BHAKARI) Program” in Mugu district in partnership with Mercy Corps Nepal. Therefore, now Organization is looking for eligible, Qualified, and self-motivated candidates for the following positions for smooth run of this project in line of the result indicators. 

Position: Technical Supervisor DRR/NRM - 1 Person (Based in Mugu Field Office)

Minimum Qualification and Experience: Ranger degree in forest science having 2 years' experience in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) particularly conducting risk assessment and risk-mitigating planning using participatory risk assessment and planning tools.  

Major Responsibility:

The DRR Technical Supervisor will responsible to Support to accomplish the activities planned. Maintain regular coordination with the beneficiaries and stakeholders/LGs. Develop/share knowledge products/case studies and will also responsible for planning and conducting the integrated community risks assessment plan for action develop, and implementation and monitoring of the disaster risk reduction interventions. Facilitate to Community Disaster Management Committees (CDMCs), Local Disaster Management Committees (LDMCs) and District Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) to enhance disaster preparedness and response capacity by establishing and strengthening the Early Warning System (EWS); and Weather Information System; and Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs).
