SOFTWARE ENGINEER

TITLE: SOFTWARE ENGINEER 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• SEO tasks (like 301 redirects, canonical, noindex, content implementation, Ads/remarketing implementation) 
• Service installations and bug fixing/maintenance tasks.
• Analytics and Tracking-Code installations 
• Should handle regular client communication. Confident to handle / maintain good relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Proactive to learn and work on service -oriented tasks of Ecommerce platforms.
• Understand existing support practices and assist the team.
• Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal.
• Communicate with team members and client on/offshore effectively, regularly, and professionally.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience of working on different E-Commerce platforms (such as Yahoo, Big Commerce, 3D Cart, Shopify, Magento) is preferable
• Experience in Web Development with having good knowledge of FRONTEND (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript library, mostly jQuery) and BACKEND (PHP and any of PHP frameworks/CMS such as Laravel, WordPress, Magento, etc.)
• Must have knowledge in MySQL database.
• Experience with Analytics code like Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Pixel, Bing, etc. would be preferred.
• Knowledge in SEO terms. Experience would be more preferred.
• Must have knowledge in GIT.
• Excellent communication skills over English spoken and writing.
• Must be a self-starter and must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and follow the organization standard.
• Ability to express ideas clearly within the team and across other groups.
• Must be passionate about learning new technology and be self-motivated / self-driven to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively / Must be a team player.
