Everest Club is a non-profit and non-government organization. It was established and registered in 1993 AD under the District Administration Office also affiliated with Social Welfare Council, Kathmandu. The organization is dedicated to holistic and integrated development based on a harmonious balance of socio-culture, material and organization trusted on teamwork and development through community mobilization.
Everest Club is going to implement the “Youth Empowerment Bulgari" project -II in the Narayan&DulluMunicipality of Dailekh District in partnership with Save the Children. The project is targeting to most deprived and vulnerable Children, Adolescents and Youths in the targeting areas and aiming overall wellbeing of Adolescents and Youths. This is five years project combine of livelihoods, education, WASH and Adolescent and Youths reproductive Health components.
Job Title: Project Coordinator (PC) -1 Position based at Narayan Municipality-Dailekh
The role of PC shall be to lead and manage for implementing "YEBP-II" Project in the Narayan&DulluMunicipality of Dailekh. The PCis responsible for the overall management, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of YEBP-II activities in the project area. This position holder will work in close collaboration with respective Municipalities. The PC shall play an important role in leading the implementation of the YEBP-II project and should be a highly motivated individual who is excited by the opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of the YEBP-II project. Also, s/he will work with Save the Children for project management to ensure the effective functions of logistics, finance, MEAL approach and documentation and reporting and human resources under the project. In the aspect of implementation, s/he will provide overall monitoring of the field level staff and ensure 50% field visit and coaching to Project staff.
Key Qualification and Skills:
The PCof this project is required to have a master’sdegree preferred to Management, Education, Public Health with at least of 3-year workexperience or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of work experience in project management of adolescents and youths project. S/he is required to have sound knowledge of project management skills. S/he must have Fluency in Nepali and English both in written and spoken. S/he is expected to maintain effective documentation and reporting mechanisms both in Nepali and English. S/he also must be equipped in preparing contextual and relevant reports, case studies, and overall writing skills (Both Nepali and English). Should have excellent computer skills MS- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis. S/he should be able to manage the human resource and have effective coordination skills across the various stakeholders of the local level district.
Job Title: Field Officer - (2 position (Female only) based at Dullu Municipality, Dailekh)
Field Officer will be responsible to implement the YEBP-II project in mentioned municipality. The project is focused for overall wellbeing of Adolescents and youths and focusing to livelihoods, education, WASH, ARSH and disability as cross cutting. The FO work close coordination with municipalities,private sector, financial institutions, line agencies,and non-governmental. Timely reporting and quality activity delivery is essential by this position.
Key Qualification and Skills:
Required to have Health Assistant (HA)/ Staff Nurse at least 2 years of working experience or BBS, BED with3 years of working experience in Adolescent and Youths program particularly ARSH, Livelihoods and Education and WASH background. She should have strong communication, documentation, facilitation skills including report writing skills is must. Should have basic computer skills.
